State Competition: State Competition in Abilene will be from, Monday, July 26th thru Wednesday, July 28th. We usually leave on Saturday at 3:00 am. There are some who meet at the Cleveland old Walmart location on Hwy 321 and travel as a group. To help defer fuel costs you can arrange to trailer with someone and pay them for part of the expense. If someone else is hauling your horse it is customary for you to travel with their group, so you can take care of your horse when they make rest stops. The gates at the Tyler Expo Center open at noon on Saturday. Click on the Taylor County Expo bar below to go to their website for map information.
