I get on Hwy 290 from the 610 Loop on the West side of Houston.
Giddings is approximately 100 miles from the junction of 610 and 290.
When you get into Brenham 290 takes a turn.
Don’t miss this, because if you continue going straight you will be on Hwy 36.
Giddings is about 33 miles from Brenham.
Travel straight through the center of Giddings.
From the Chevron station on far side of Giddings the Sheriffs Posse Arena is 2 miles.
You will pass a bowling alley on the left and an airport.
When you see the Fireman’s Park the arena is immediately after on the left.
